What is Zero-Day Delta, Anyway?

In security, a zero-day is a vulnerability, attack, security flaw or malware for which there is no standard or predetermined response or course of action. ‘Zero-Day’ literally refers to the idea that this is ‘day zero’, the very first time the issue is encountered, and there is no easy or canned response.

Zero-Day is, quite literally, that first moment when *it* hits the fan. It’s that first instant when something happens that virtually no one was ready for. But just because it’s new doesn’t mean you can wait to address it, and you’re the one who needs to fix it. The cavalry isn’t coming – at least not yet.

And that’s what Zero Day Delta seeks to address, by giving you the knowledge and tools to respond to security events as you find them. Bad actors work 24/7 to find these flaws and exploit them, along with creating malware designed to create vulnerabilities and vectors on demand.

And that’s what Zero Day Delta is all about – giving you the insight, knowledge, skills and gear that will provide you with that ‘delta’ between being a victim of a zero-day event, and overcoming it.
